Texture, Transparency + Porosity is part of a site study for a proposed recreation center on the Ohio State University campus. The drawing uses a variety of textures to distinguish site and building areas by porosity, or their level of publicity. The study serves as inspiration for later site intervention to match indicated porosity through access paths or programmed area, as well as physical transparency of surfaces and materials on the building itself. Transparency, Texture + Porosity also serves as an initial facade reference study.
